Annual Tift County Forestry and Pine Seedling Scholarship Commodity
Pageant Introduction . . .
All queens receive their entry fees paid to the
68th Miss Georgia Forestry Pageant. Queens receive an official full round Forestry crown,
silver engraved tray, crowning pin, satin monogrammed banner, rhinestone sceptor, Miss
receives college scholarship and other queens receive savings bonds plus other prizes from
local merchants.
Queens serve as official Ambassadors in promoting Georgia's number one industry-Forestry
for the upcoming year in events such as parades, ribbon cutting, t.v., radio and so forth.
Miss and Teen will be judged on 50% interview with a panel of judges, 25% on platform
speaking, and 25% on evening gown. All other divisions judged a 1 to 10 on Personality,
Poise, Beauty, Gown, and Overall Appearance.
This pageant promotes educational opportunities for young ladies as well as teaching and
promoting public speaking skills that contestants can carry with them throughout life.
No pageant experience is needed to enter the Tift
County Forestry and Miss Pine Seedling Pageant.
Contestants need to enter early because the number
of contestants in each age division is limited.
